HOW TO JOIN

Existing testers: follow these steps in order

This guide is for testers selected during the recruitment period. You must join the Google Group first — otherwise the Play Store won't show you the test app.

Join the tester group

Join the tester group with the same Google account you use for the Play Store on your Android phone.

Tapping the button opens a screen like this

Tap “Join group” and you're done joining.

The group name appears in Korean — that's the right group. An empty group with no posts is normal. If you don't see the button because you already joined, just move on to step 2.

Opt in on Google Play

After joining the group, open the test page and choose to become a tester.

Tap the blue “Become a tester” button and your tester registration is complete.

The long description just says test builds can be unstable — you can skip reading it. One tap on the blue button takes you to step 3.

Install the app

Once you're in, install Mahjong: World Odyssey from Google Play, or update to the latest test build.

After registering, the page changes to this

The green “You are a tester.” badge means you're registered. Tap the blue “download it on Google Play” link to install the app.

Do not tap “Leave the program” below it — that removes you as a tester and cancels the registration you just made.

If the app is already installed, there's nothing to download — the Play Store will update it to the test build. This can take a few minutes to a few hours.

Play daily for 14 days

Play at least one game every day for 14 days. Send any issues or ideas through “Feedback & Bug Report” inside the app.

TEST CONDITIONS

Eligibility and reward details

  • You need an Android device and a Google account that can use Google Play.
  • Play at least 1 game every day for 14 days to count as completing the test.
  • Selected testers confirmed to complete the 14-day test each receive US$50.
  • When you find a bug, please include a screenshot and how to reproduce it if you can.
